Noida International University Dean at the School of Fine Arts & Design, Dr. Niahr Das, has recently extended an invitation to join the esteemed Artist-In-Residence Programme at Rashtrapati Bhavan. This prestigious invitation was extended to him in recognition of his substantial contributions and expertise in the field of art, following a selection of diverse groups of artists across India.
The Artist-In-Residence Programme is a commitment to promoting artistic talent and creativity in line with the vision of the Hon’ble President of India. The Programme encourages cultural engagement to foster artistic talent and strengthen ties with citizens. Dr. Nihar Das, who is a well-known professional artist, has shown his work to the Hon’ble President and participated in a variety of art activities planned for the week.
It was a seven-day program running from February 21st to February 27th that contributed greatly to artistic discussion and cultural exchange.
On receiving this prestigious award from, the Hon’ble President of India, Dr. Das said, “I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Artist-In-Residence program. It gives me great joy to have had such an important experience with all of the participants who came from all over India to showcase their best work. The participation invitation from Rashtrapri Bhawan was significant for me and an amazing experience to exchange cultures with experienced artists.
